James Waters
Assistant Director
James Waters is the new Associate Conductor for the Vienna Community Band, bringing years of diverse performance experience to the band.
A dedicated flutist and piccolo player, he has been a member of a variety of ensembles including the Vienna Community Band, National Concert Band of America, the McLean Symphony Orchestra, and the Manassas Symphony Orchestra.
James studied flute and instrumental conducting at Shenandoah University. In addition to his instrumental work, he is a tenor at the Vienna Presbyterian Church.
